More details:

During our search for a good render farm service, we began taking a critical look at how other farms operated. We quickly discovered several ways to increase accessibility, affordability, and security in every aspect of your render farm experience. Pixel Plow is the continuation of our effort to provide this experience in a simple, competitive package. Our private service is built to optimize the ENTIRE process of rendering your scene files on a remote render farm. That means we don't solely focus on node count or speed, but on that PLUS job submission, result delivery, job management and notification, and automating everything possible. Give Pixel Plow a try. You'll be glad you did.

Hello, I am seeing if you can render Mental ray in Maya 2014 and RFRK real flow 2015 plug in.
Thanks!

Just wanted to say a big thankyou for how easy Pixelplow is to get up and running. It's saved my butt a few times now over the last couple of weeks with some tight deadlines on render heavy projects. Frames returned perfectly and I felt the pricing was/is really fair.
I'll definitely be using you guys more in the future :)
Thanks again!
Cheers,
Brad

I’m a loyal customer of PixelPlow – I think it’s an excellent service, and I’m really glad to hear you’re so diligent about configurations. I’ve had about 30 years in administering and supporting engineering applications, so I know how buggy most of them are – now I have some ammo to go after the Foundry on their issue.

Oh so awesome. I don't know how you (or you guys) are able to do what you do. Price point, compatibility, and customer service, all awesome so far. I hope you guys are around forever!

Short review: Pixel Plow is awesome. Fast uploads, super-fast renders, fast downloads, all with very low prices.

Long review: Our small animation company just completed its largest single job in the 16 years we’ve been in business, and Pixel Plow was indispensable in the completion of the job, allowing me to render draft animations in a matter of minutes for under $10 for 1000 frames. This was the first time we relied on render farms to complete animations jobs on time, and Pixel Plow came through with flying colors. I’m 100% satisfied with their service, and I won’t hesitate to use them in the future.

My experience with Pixel Plow began in early February, 2016. Due to client insanity I had to render 785 full-quality HD frames (Physical Renderer in Cinema 4D R17) in under 90 minutes one afternoon to complete revisions to several animation scenes, renders that probably would have taken 13-15 hours on our modest network of three aging Mac Pros. Uploading the scene files (some over 100 MB due to heavy CAD models) went smoothly, the frames rendered quickly at around a power level of 8.5, and having the frames appear in my designated folder worked great, too. All that for a shockingly reasonable price.

For this latest month-long job I rented the services of a subscription render farm for 25 days for around $1500, and in hindsight that was probably a mistake. Uploads were slow and unreliable, the small farm was often completely tied up by other users, when it was available I was not getting all of the CPUs I paid for, and the render server software would lock up unless carefully tended by the operator; it was a mess. I’d planned to use that farm over the course of a month to render both draft and final renders, but due to these issues I used it only for a portion of my final renders. I probably could have saved around $1000 if I'd just used Pixel Plow for everything, but live and learn.

For my drafts, instead of sending Open GL renders to the clients (the low quality of which would have undoubtedly confused them) I could render half-size animations at low resolution in under 15 minutes for hundreds of frames. One great feature of Pixel Plow is the ability to specify frame ranges, something Cinema 4D can’t do natively for no apparent reason. This feature allowed me to render only the sections of animation where there was movement; I time remapped the resulting sequences in After Effects.

These animations involved poly-heavy CAD files; 400 MB uploads were very fast. They also required rendering multiple views of the same scene, generating up to 4000 HD frames amounting to 13GB or so of downloads. Frames download to my selected hard drive as they’re completed. I was able to download all of those frames in under an hour. I'd tried RebusFarm a few years ago, and though it rendered my animation frames very quickly it took FOREVER to download the results, pretty much negating the benefit of the farm for that project. Rebusfarm support just sort of shrugged when I contacted them about the slow downloads.

The Pixel Plow agent is easy to access from the top toolbar on my Mac. The interface is super-simple. Choose your animation software, select your scene file from your desktop, specify frame ranges, specify a power level, and specify a file name and destination folder on your system.

Pixel Plow also offers the ability to cache scene elements on their servers so you don’t have to repeatedly upload big cache files. Several of my scenes required Alembic files of 2-3GB each. I was able to keep those files on the Pixel Plow servers until I was completely finished with the scenes. They charge literally pennies per day to keep those files on their servers.

Pixel Plow has transformed how our small business will approach animation projects. No more multiple overnight renders on our small network!

After discovering PixelPlow it has become my number one weapon of choice for beating my arch enemy - render waiting time! No longer do I ask myself if I'll manage to render the project in time, I know it will be handled by the farm and the files will silently come to my hard drive!
I work specifically with animation and after a lot of research, I believe this is THE best solution especially for rendering large sequences of frames! This is both thanks to their unbelievably low pricing and the way the system handles sequences!
Quality and the speed of response of the customer service is top notch!
Very thankful for the service! Some of the projects I've done recently would not have been possible without it!

I've discovered PixelPlow about 4 months ago and this changed my whole workflow! I work specifically with animations. With the impressively low pricing, I'd say this is the best platform especially for that!
Their Agent software works like a clock, the progress is easy to follow. And the fact that files are silently downloaded to my machine and I'm notified by email when it's done or if there is any issue, gives me additional sense of freedom and control.
Also customer service is great and quick! Thank you guys for making this, it really is a (work)life changer!

Just wanted to say that I've been using PixelPlow for the first time over the last few days, and I'm super-impressed with your service!
Great help from Support in getting it running... and the cost and efficiency were absolutely stellar. I never would have been able to complete my latest project without it =)
Thanks for a great service... I'll be back with all my renders from now on!

BTW, your service is like butter compared to RenderCore. I hadn't used them for about 8 years and NOTHING has changed! Looking forward to more reasons to use you.

Thanks so much for your help. I ended up reworking the project so that it didn't need the custom shaders. I really appreciate you guys being willing to install the shader for me though!
I rendered the project on your farm and it turned out great! Awesome product. I really like your client app as well.

Just wanted to give my appreciation for the service that you guys are providing. This is my first experience with render farms and I am just submitting my the final scenes for a music video that was 100% rendered from your farm. I am pretty blown away at how well this workflow has worked for me and the amount of time and money I've saved. I will definitely be recommending this to others.
